Current Situation:
The existing functionality does not provide the flexibility needed for certain scenarios, such as filtering property owners based on multiple criteria (e.g., multiple properties, mailing list exclusions, etc.). This limitation can make it challenging to achieve precise results for targeted actions like mailings or data imports.
Suggested Improvement:
To resolve this issue, I propose adding the following filtering options as checkboxes or dropdown menus during the property selection or import process:
- Include Owners with Multiple Properties (Yes/No)
Allow users to filter property owners based on whether they own multiple properties. - Import One Property per Owner (Yes/No)
Provide the option to import only one property per owner, which is helpful for scenarios where unique owner data is more critical than property data. - Exclude Owners on the “Do Not Mail” List (Yes/No)
Ensure users can easily exclude owners flagged on the “Do Not Mail” list to comply with preferences or regulations. - Exclude In-State Owners (Yes/No)
Add an option to exclude property owners who reside in the same state as the property, simplifying out-of-state targeting.
